Volume 3 - Chapter 418: Opening the Final Realm (Part 4)
“My Emperor’s Path… is the Final Realm of the Four Pillars.”
Su Jiuzhe spoke softly, a glint flashing through his eyes.
Li Hao froze. The Final Realm of the Four Pillars?
Suddenly, a realization hit him like a thunderclap, sending cold sweat down his spine. The Four Pillars Realm—composed of Dao Heart, Defying Fate, Supreme Techniques, and Peace.
The ultimate form of the Peace Realm was the Eternal Domain.
And beyond the Eternal Domain… a Final Realm?
That was Su Jiuzhe’s creation?!
Li Hao had long heard that some Emperors forged their own Emperor Paths, which became foundational systems for cultivation in the True Realm.
Some created Extreme Realms, others Final Realms, and some developed peerless Techniques like the Fivefold Emperor Sword, which wielded five Origin Daos to unleash world-shaking sword might.
“So the Final Realm of the Eternal Domain… was created by you, Senior?”
Li Hao could hardly believe it. The shock in his heart was beyond description.
A Final Realm—this Emperor before him had created one!
And not just any Final Realm, but the culmination of the Four Pillars Path!
Seeing his reaction, Su Jiuzhe smiled and said lightly, “This Final Realm—when you break through to the King Realm, come see me. I’ll see if your comprehension is deep enough to lead you into its threshold.”
Li Hao’s heart stirred. Gratitude surged from deep within. A simple “thank you” felt utterly inadequate for such generosity.
“This must be a forbidden secret, Senior. I…”
“There’s no such thing as a ‘forbidden secret.’”
Su Jiuzhe shook his head, cutting him off. “The real forbidden secrets have thresholds too high for the world to touch. Spend your years chasing after them and you’ll only waste your life. It’s better not to know at all—better to put your mind to other things. You might actually achieve something.”
He continued, “If you can comprehend it, that’s your ability. The True Realm isn’t what it was a hundred thousand years ago, when all paths flourished and every family guarded their secrets jealously. If you leaked a technique back then, they’d chase you across ten thousand miles to recover it. But now… heh. As long as it creates strong cultivators who can slay the Elder Demons, then it’s worth it.”
Li Hao looked at him, dazed. Only now did he realize—not all Emperors were lofty rulers from the Southern Region.
No wonder the Human Clan had survived to this day. It wasn’t just his long-lost master, the Heavenbane Immortal Emperor, but also Dao Source Immortal Emperor, and this very Su Jiuzhe.
Through the torrent of time, against all odds, these Emperors bore the hopes of humanity and fought back against the darkness.
“Senior…”
Li Hao clenched his fists. For the first time, he felt that maybe—just maybe—he, too, had a duty to bear in the future.
If he could one day reach their heights…
“This Final Realm of the Four Pillars—I call it the ‘Great Thousand World.’”
Su Jiuzhe’s voice was calm. “Before you’re a King, you won’t be able to grasp it. The fact that you’ve already refined True God Blood is extraordinary. That’s something most only reach at the peak of the Immortal King Realm.”
Li Hao steadied his thoughts and asked, “Senior, is this Final Realm more difficult than the True God Final Realm?”
“Not necessarily.”
Su Jiuzhe shook his head. “The later a Final Realm appears, the harder or stronger it isn’t always. For example, the Myriad Stars Vein is comprehension-based. If you’ve got incredible perception, even a True Immortal could master it. Meanwhile, the True God Final Realm relies on resources. If you take the right divine medicines, you can refine it.”
“My Final Realm, however, requires mastery over one’s domain. As for the True God Realm, even many peak Immortal Kings never manage to refine it. The soul is the hardest path to cultivate—which is why the Elder Demons are so terrifying.”
He continued, “Among all the Final Realms, if we’re talking about the strongest… that would be the Heavenly-Human Realm and the Sage Realm.”
“Heavenly-Human and Sage Realm?”
Li Hao’s mind flashed back. The extreme form of the Heavenly-Human Realm was Immortalization. Its Final Realm… was Celestial Lord.
As for the Sage Realm… its extreme form was the Dao Embryo, and the Final Realm…
He had never even glimpsed it.
“Do the True Immortal and Immortal Lord Realms have Extreme or Final Realms?”
Li Hao couldn’t help but ask.
Su Jiuzhe nodded slightly. “Yes and no. If you must define them—the Final Realm of the True Immortal Realm is the Dao Source Seal. As for the Immortal Lord Realm… it’s the Law of Chaotic Infinity.”
He gave Li Hao a glance. “You haven’t even refined the Law of Chaos yet. You’re still far from the Immortal Lord Realm. That’s why I told you to go to the Primal True Realm. Here, you’re a dragon among men—but only there can you truly access the highest Daos of the True Realm. Only there can you lay the foundation to become an Emperor.”
“If you stay here and waste time… you’ll end up lost among the crowd.”
Li Hao froze. Even Su Jiuzhe said so—clearly the Primal True Realm was beyond compare.
No wonder during the Southern Region war, the great powers all scrambled for a place in it.
Even the Emperor Clans sent people to compete. So did the top ten races of the True Realm—the Ghost Clan, the Ancient Gods, the Battle Heaven Clan.
“Is the Primal True Realm really that incredible?”
“Of course. There, you can witness the birth of chaos itself.”
Su Jiuzhe nodded. “If you want to comprehend the Law of Chaos, that place will yield twice the results with half the effort. But here… even with your monstrous talent, it might take you ten thousand years—or longer.”
Li Hao nodded slightly. As an Emperor, Su Jiuzhe wouldn’t be mistaken. Though Li Hao had a panel that let him “add points,” it only worked up to the Perfect Realm. Extreme Realms and Final Realms had to be realized on his own.
“Senior, if all these Extreme and Final Realms were created by Emperors, then… before there were Emperors, how did people cultivate? How did they become Emperors?”
Li Hao asked curiously.
“That was the Chaos Era. Back then, becoming an Emperor was a different path altogether. But it no longer applies.”
Su Jiuzhe shook his head. “Once you reach the peak of the Immortal King Realm, you’ll understand. No use knowing early—only adds to your burden.”
Li Hao was intrigued, but seeing that he wouldn’t elaborate, he dropped the question.
In any case, he had already gained tremendously from this short conversation.
This, perhaps, was the benefit of having an Emperor as a mentor.
For the first time, he felt a flicker of envy toward those direct disciples of Immortal Emperors—for them, knowledge like this was probably commonplace.
“Thank you for clearing my doubts, Senior.”
Li Hao cupped his fists in deep gratitude.
Su Jiuzhe waved him off casually. “Finish your wine and be off. If you need anything, go to Su Zhenyuan. Don’t linger here too long—my corpse aura might contaminate you.”
Li Hao hesitated, wanting to speak, but in the end said nothing. He silently drank the rest of the wine and stood up.
“These pastries are pretty bad. If there’s a chance, I’ll make a few batches for you to try.”
“Sure.”
Su Jiuzhe responded offhandedly, clearly not taking it seriously.
Li Hao took his leave, descending the slope.
Peach blossoms drifted in the breeze, while behind him, a lone figure drank in silence.
