Cultivation Begins from Infancy - Ch 1252

Volume 3 - Chapter 404: Imperial Might (Final 3)

This time, ten people had achieved undefeated records and earned the right to harvest the Immortal Aura Purple Osmanthus. Yet there were only six blossoms available.

Li Hao didn’t hesitate. He rose swiftly, brushing past Su Muqing as she returned.

Su Muqing’s eyes were cold, with a trace of scorn flickering within. When Li Hao handed her the Immortal Aura Purple Osmanthus, she would step on it without hesitation. She might like the blossom, but she would use it to make clear just how much she despised him.

The others quickly realized that the number of candidates exceeded the number of blossoms. With the Immortal Aura Purple Osmanthus in short supply, they all rushed forward to seize the chance.

Su Qiyu was the fastest, having reached the peak of the Immortal Sovereign Realm. Right after Su Muqing, he picked the second blossom and gracefully returned.

Looking at Su Wanxue and Su Wanqing, he frowned slightly. One blossom clearly wasn’t enough to share. He turned to Su Wanqing and said, “Wanqing, I’ll give this one to Wanxue. I’ll make it up to you another time.”

Su Wanxue shook her head. “Give it to Wanqing instead. I don’t want it.”

Su Wanqing quickly said, “No, give it to Sister. I already have the Divine Spring Golden Osmanthus. I prefer the golden one anyway.”

Su Qiyu cleared his throat softly. Wanxue, second among the four sisters, was someone he was more familiar with. Stepping forward, he said, “Wanxue, take it.”

Su Wanxue opened her mouth to refuse again, but Su Wanqing interrupted her. “Sister, please take it. I really don’t want it.”

Left with no choice, Su Wanxue accepted it and said, “Thank you, Brother Qiyu. Thank you, Wanqing.”

Su Wanqing smiled, showing no trace of regret or disappointment.

Suddenly, startled cries erupted, followed by the sound of splashing water.

Su Wanqing’s heart tensed. Looking up, she saw among those approaching the Immortal Aura Purple Osmanthus, two figures falling, with one already plunging into the sword pond.

“Even someone at the third stage of the Immortal Sovereign Realm can’t harvest it? Is that sword intent really that powerful?”

“Of course it is. That spot is near the summit—it’s where the sword intent is at its strongest.”

“So even if we win an undefeated record, we can only gaze at it from afar!”

The crowd erupted in conversation.

Then someone cried out, “Look! He got it!”

Su Wanqing focused her gaze. Among the falling figures, Li Hao was not one of them.

A deep, terrifying sword intent surged, slicing down a blossom of the Immortal Aura Purple Osmanthus, caught deftly by a long, steady hand.

Within Li Hao’s eyes, five sources of Origin Power flowed like a five-colored lotus. A terrifying sword intent tried to invade his sea of consciousness, but he called forth the might of the Five Absolutes Imperial Sword, slicing through it within his mind!

The sword force of the Five Absolutes Imperial Might was even more domineering. Once it shattered the invading intent, the pressure on his body dropped sharply. With a flick of his figure, he returned with ease.

“No way! Even the prodigy from the Kong Clan at the third stage failed—and he got one?”

“Are you saying his sword intent surpasses Kong Yeyu’s?”

“So he really wasn’t using full strength earlier? Could he actually go toe-to-toe with Kong Yeyu?”

All eyes turned, stunned and awed, watching the youth return with a blossom in hand.

Even Su Muqing’s expression shifted slightly. When she had picked hers earlier, it may have looked effortless, but the sword intent had been fierce—she had needed to go all out just to break through it.

“This guy…”

She stared hard at Li Hao, her gaze flickering.

Su Wanqing also realized this Immortal Aura Purple Osmanthus was harder to harvest than she had imagined, and couldn’t help feeling happy for Li Hao.

At that moment, Li Hao returned to the prayer mat. Just as he arrived, another cry of alarm rang out.

Li Hao turned to look—just in time to see a pink figure fall into the sword pond.

“My god, even Jiang Huanhuan fell in!”

“Someone at the fourth stage of the Immortal Sovereign Realm failed? That’s Jiang Huanhuan!”

“How is this possible? Just how strong is the sword intent atop that monument?”

Shock swept through the crowd. The noble clan prodigies leapt to their feet in disbelief.

“How could this be?”

Su Wanqing stood frozen. Jiang Huanhuan wasn’t just in the fourth stage—she was one of the top prodigies of the Jiang Clan. When she achieved her undefeated record earlier, it hadn’t even looked like she was trying. And now, she couldn’t pick the blossom?

Su Muqing raised a brow, a glint of surprise in her eyes and a cold smile tugging at her lips. So Jiang Huanhuan wasn’t so impressive after all.

Immortal King Tan’s gaze remained fixed on the first-stage youth. He knew full well—the sword intent near the Immortal Aura Purple Osmanthus didn’t just test one’s cultivation realm. More importantly, it tested sword Dao.

That boy’s sword Dao far exceeded what had been shown—he was hiding far more than he revealed.

“Huanhuan!”

The Jiang Clan entourage rose to their feet in panic. Shocked, several of them had already plunged into the sword pond to retrieve her.

Li Hao withdrew his gaze. The blossom of Immortal Aura Purple Osmanthus in his hand gave off a unique fragrance, calming and refreshing, with pure violet radiance flowing around it. Origin of the Great Dao circled it, manifesting faint and strange visions in the surrounding air.

Su Muqing’s expression remained cold and aloof. She didn’t even glance in Li Hao’s direction.

“For you,”

Li Hao said, handing the Immortal Aura Purple Osmanthus to Su Wanqing.
