Cultivation Begins from Infancy - Ch 1209

Volume 3 - Chapter 390: Northern Domain, The Su Clan

“You knew from the beginning that child was the inheritor of the Master’s legacy. Letting him marry into your family as Imperial Consort was meant to lower the Supreme One’s guard. It was a clever move—but…”

The Crimson Frontier Empress sighed softly and said, “Who could’ve foreseen that the child would be so extraordinary? Even I once assumed he was just one of the Master’s ordinary legacy bearers, left behind in the end... but the truth…”

The others fell silent at her words.

Indeed… they had all misjudged. Who would have thought that the young man would end up so dazzling?

Unmatched beneath the True Immortal Realm, he had fought alone against the entire Southern Domain. Even the Supreme One’s personal disciple had been defeated by him.

One must understand—the Master had long since perished. No matter how profound the legacy left behind, how could it compare to direct guidance from the Supreme One?

And yet, even so, that child—with only a century of soul-life—shook the Southern Domain and crushed the Supreme One’s chosen.

“The reincarnation of Princess Shimiao also appeared and was nearly destroyed. Fortunately, she seems to have grasped extraordinary temporal powers. She endured within the River of Time and did not truly perish.”

“This proves her soul-heart has not withered. So long as she is not personally obliterated and sealed by an Immortal Emperor, we may yet see her again.”

“When that young man and Princess Shimiao’s reincarnation rise once more… that will be the moment we sound the horn of counterattack and clear the Master’s name!”

The few individuals exchanged glances, each gaze weighed with solemnity and depth.

They were all Ancient Emperors of the Seven Dynasties, beings who had endured since a hundred millennia ago. How could they not know the truth of that ancient upheaval?

Back then, more than seven imperial dynasties remained—but the rest were already wiped out in their resistance.

Without an Immortal Emperor overseeing them, all others were ants before an Emperor Lord. Resistance meant nothing but annihilation.

“This was my mistake,” the Emperor of Chu finally spoke after a long silence. “Perhaps if we had hidden the boy away, in ten thousand years he would have emerged naturally.”

The Former Empress looked at him, seeing a trace of pain in the burly man’s eyes. She understood his turmoil and gently shook her head.

“The boy’s whereabouts were already exposed. The Supreme One merely used him to draw the snake from its hole. In truth, your actions aligned with fate. If you had truly concealed him, Yan Chu would’ve vanished from the Southern Domain entirely.”

“Indeed. And those people would have gone into deeper hiding. This way, the Southern Domain will no longer be their refuge.”

The Tianzhao Emperor nodded in agreement.

“We just don’t know where the boy is now… or where he’s headed. The Dao-Origin Immortal Emperor personally paved a path for him, concealing his aura and fate. All traces have been severed—even the Supreme One cannot divine it.”

“No matter where he is, I believe that within ten thousand years, we’ll hear his name again.”

“May the day we all await… truly arrive.”

Their eyes met again, weathered by time. The sight of both inheritors nearly perishing before them had left a deep impact. Yet within the clouds and mists, they showed no sign of distress—not a single ripple in front of the Supreme One.

After a brief pause, the seven figures dispersed, vanishing into the starry sky, leaving no trace behind.

The starry expanse shimmered with endless lights.

Amid that vastness, the Imperial Path blazed across the entire Southern Domain like a radiant arc.

When Li Hao stepped into the swirling vortex, an aged voice echoed by his ear:

“Young one, the Master has completely severed your fate and aura. This old servant shall now disguise your new vessel. Unless an Immortal Emperor intervenes, none will be able to find you. From now on, focus solely on cultivation.”

Li Hao opened his eyes.

The vortex was vast and deep. The powers of time and space flowed around him like flying fish, guiding his body toward an unimaginably distant place.

Time twisted around him. He felt as if he were leaping back and forth across different timelines.

He understood—this path had been chosen by the Dao-Origin Immortal Emperor himself. Perhaps it would truly elude the Supreme One’s pursuit.

“And you are?”

Li Hao’s thoughts stirred with curiosity.

“I am the Black Tortoise Source Shell the Master bestowed upon you. A fragment of the soul of the Chaos Black Tortoise,” the ancient voice answered gently.

A fragment of an Emperor soul… Li Hao’s gaze sharpened. For it to be called an Emperor soul, the Chaos Black Tortoise must have once stood at the Emperor Realm.

Softly, he said in his heart, “Thank you, Senior, for your protection. May I ask—where are we headed?”

“The Northern Domain.”

The Black Tortoise Emperor Soul replied calmly, “I cannot see your fate. Something blocks me. But the Master likely foresaw your trajectory and chose this place for you. He also gave me a scroll to pass to you once we arrive.”

“A scroll?”

Li Hao’s curiosity deepened, but he didn’t press further.

The swirling vortex continued to expand, carrying his body ever forward. Time passed—roughly the length of three incense sticks...
